Programme overview
A 12–24 month fellowship in the 30-bed cardiac surgical ICU (over 2,000 admissions a year) open to physicians certified in cardiac surgery, general intensive care, cardiology or anaesthesiology. Training covers assessment, monitoring and resuscitation after all types of cardiac surgery including transplant, short/long-term VADs, ECMO and robotic surgery, with TTE/TEE rotations and an optional full research year.
