About Suresh Rao
Suresh Rao directs the Children’s Heart Centre at Kokilaben Hospital and specialises in paediatric and congenital heart surgery, particularly neonatal operations and complex repairs. He trained in India, New Zealand, Australia and the United States, including a congenital heart surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His professional work has also included training congenital heart surgeons and leadership of the Pediatric Cardiac Society of India and IACTS.
