Joel Price trained in cardiac surgery at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and pursued advanced fellowships in valve reconstruction in Brussels and aortic/endovascular surgery at Cleveland Clinic. He holds a Harvard public-health master’s degree and worked at Johns Hopkins before returning to Canada in 2016.
