About Jeffrey Giles Gaca
Jeffrey Gaca leads the adult cardiac surgery section at Duke. He trained in general and cardiothoracic surgery at Duke, followed by an aortic surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania before joining Duke’s faculty in 2008. His practice and educational work include valve surgery, minimally invasive heart surgery and transcatheter valve interventions.
