Faculty overview
Eduardo Fontena directs thoracic surgery, lung transplantation and ECMO for Rede D’Or in Rio de Janeiro and coordinates the thoracic surgery residency at IDOR/Hospital Copa D’Or. He trained in thoracic surgery at Santa Casa de Porto Alegre/Pavilhão Pereira Filho and completed a research fellowship with the University of Florida lung-transplant programme. His clinical practice includes thoracic surgical oncology and lung transplantation.
