About Douglas R. Smego
Douglas Smego received his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School and completed surgical internship and residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, with further fellowships at Louisville and Montefiore/Einstein. At Utah, his educational work has included revising the cardiothoracic fellowship curriculum and restarting its simulation laboratory after joining the faculty in 2019.
